Program Details

Walden University offers a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Psychology.  This online psychology degree offers a broad exposure to the field.  You will examine both research and practice-oriented elements of psychology.  Courses also cover the fundamentals of psychology, including methods, theory, and principles of the field while teaching students about psychopathology, intervention, and principles of ethics in professional psychology practice.  This online master’s in psychology provides a foundation for doctoral-level study in clinical psychology.

Students will also complete courses in the broader field of psychology, preparing them to impact the lives of those in need.  The curriculum covers the latest psychological research and theory, teaching students to use these to solve critical, real-world problems affecting people and communities.

The MS in Psychology is not a licensure program and does not prepare an individual to become a licensed psychology or counseling professional.
