Walden University offers an online human services degree, the Master of Science in Human Services. This general degree explores human and social services competencies and strategies, preparing you to make a positive difference for individuals, families, and communities as well as in a global context. Students develop holistic, interprofessional perspectives that better equip them to help navigate social services in their communities.
The general human services degree provides best practices for delivery systems, program planning, and evaluation methods. Courses cover a broad range of topics, expanding understanding of the human services field and providing practical skills that can be applied immediately on the job. The curriculum includes a course in grant writing and focuses on interprofessional practices that help students advance their careers.
