The Community & Social Services specialization prepares you to work in community social work in non-licensure roles. You will study the prevention, intervention, and promotion of well-being in a variety of settings, including schools, communities, and organizations. Courses also explore the theoretical, ethical, social, political and cultural factors that influence social services programs. You will learn how to identify the needs of individuals and families and to help these clients navigate services in their communities.
