Program Details

Walden University offers an online Master of Science in Forensic Psychology degree with a concentration in Terrorism.  This online homeland security degree examines psychological and public policy principles to better understand the impact of terrorism and the countermeasures required to combat terrorist threats.  You will study systemic approaches to issues of public safety, emergency preparedness, and disaster/trauma management while learning to apply the findings of behavioral, social, and cognitive research to positions throughout the homeland security field.  

In addition to the terrorism concentration, you will study the broader field of forensic psychology.  The curriculum provides knowledge, skills, and expertise that students can use to drive positive change within the criminal justice system.  Courses look at the biological, psychological, and social factors that impact criminal behavior and provide an understanding of criminal behavior on a deeper level.
