Program Details

Walden University offers an online law degree combined with a master’s degree in forensic psychology, the Master of Science in Forensic Psychology with a concentration in Legal Issues in Forensic Psychology.  This program is designed for students interested in exploring the intersection of psychology and the law for the legal system.  The curriculum looks into probation and parole services, corrections, and the interactions in the criminal justice system as you gain a basic understanding of such topics as expert testimony, jury selection, and eyewitness testimony.  Students graduate with the knowledge and skills needed to engage with the court system as a forensic psychology professional.  

In addition to this legal issues concentration, students also study general forensic psychology with this online forensic psychology degree.  You will explore the biological, psychological, and social factors impacting criminal behavior as you seek to understand criminal behavior on a deeper level.  Students gain the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to drive positive change within the criminal justice system.
