Program Details

The Master of Science in Forensic Psychology online degree from Walden University offers a concentration in Cybercrimes.  This online cyber security degree and forensic psychology degree examines how technology is used in the commission of various crimes.  You will study such crimes as:

  • Child sexual exploitation
  • Child pornography
  • Cyberstalking
  • Cyberbullying
  • Human trafficking

Courses study these crimes within the context of social psychology, media, and the effects of cybercrimes on the community.

In addition to the cybercrime concentration, students will also explore topics included in general forensic psychology, including the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to drive positive change within the criminal justice system.  Coursework looks at the biological, psychological, and social factors impacting criminal behavior and helps students understand criminal behavior on a deeper level.
