Walden University offers an online education degree, the Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for Grades K-12.  This online master’s in curriculum and instruction supports the key premise that all children can learn, regardless of socioeconomic conditions, ethnicity, or learning differences.  The program focuses on providing 21st-century learning opportunities that serve all students.  Its curriculum includes the latest information on brain-based learning and features access to national education experts as you learn how this information translates to effective practice in the classroom.  

All of Walden’s online education degree programs focus on enhancing educator effectiveness and student success.  Coursework explores beliefs and behaviors that contribute to a higher level of teacher performance.  You will study cultural and linguistic diversity and gain the skills needed to adapt to various learning and language styles.  Students gain insight into building supportive learning communities that will motivate and engage their future students.  You can also learn how teachers can leverage data assessment to be instructional leaders.  

An added Master of Education accelerated option is designed to be completed in 12-months, but this varies by the student and depends on individual progress and credits transferred.
