The online Master of Science in Criminal Justice Leadership & Executive Management program helps prepare law enforcement professionals for executive management roles in criminal justice or to transition into careers in education or as consultants. The curriculum blends criminal behavioral theory with human services, technology, homeland security, and management skills while students study management philosophies, budgeting, and communication skills. You will learn to evaluate factors related to crime and the impact of crime on criminal justice policies and procedures, about the way the U.S. Constitution impacts policy and procedures and learn to promote social justice and positive social change. Graduates are able to evaluate management philosophies used in human resources in criminal justice organizations, can discuss leadership skills needed for working with diverse populations, and understand how laws and policies are adopted, implemented, and evaluated.
