The online forensic psychology degree is available at Walden University as the Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Forensic Counseling.  This online counseling degree prepares students for careers in the legal and criminal justice systems.  You will learn the knowledge and skills needed by forensic counselors to provide expert advice and determine the proper resolution of cases with the most effective treatment for offenders.  The curriculum provides knowledge of mental health law while focusing on juvenile justice and delinquency.

In addition to Forensic Counseling, students complete courses in the broad clinical mental health counseling field so they are prepared to help others cope with daily life and overcome their challenges to be more productive and fulfilled.  Coursework covers current counseling theories, evidence-based research, and tools for preventing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders.
