Walden University offers a Graduate Certificate in Engaging Culturally Diverse Learners. The goal of the program is to help K-12 students from all backgrounds achieve their highest potential.
Courses in this online teaching degree explore theories, research, and effective practices related to student diversity. Participants will learn about the complex influences of culture, language, and life experiences and be able to utilize these as learning opportunities in the classroom. Graduates will be able to apply models such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and differentiated instruction to create personalized and effective learning environments for all students.
