Program Details

Changes in educational technology are dramatically affecting the way students learn at school, work, and home. The EdD with a specialization in Educational Technology (Non-Licensure) is designed for K–12 educational leaders who want to initiate and implement change at the district, regional, state, and federal levels. By integrating the latest technologies and instructional design principles, you can prepare to develop and lead technology-supported solutions to learning challenges in the K–12 classroom. With program outcomes informed by the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) standards, this EdD specialization prepares you to conduct research on local problems in a rapidly changing field. It is designed to advance your career quickly and affordably, with an embedded post-master’s certificate that can be earned upon completion of seven quarters.
