Program Details

In our DNP Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) specialization, you’ll prepare to independently oversee your own patients 13 and older. Learn from practicing NPs as you gain the advanced training to fill the gaps in primary care delivery. AGPCNPs are advanced practice nurses who manage disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and restorative care in adolescents and adults. This DNP adult-gerontology primary care program curriculum meets the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) standards for AGPCNP. You’ll be academically prepared to sit for the national adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner certification exam. Choose the MSN to DNP track if you are a registered nurse (RN) and have earned your master’s in nursing degree.
