Program Details

Today’s human resource (HR) managers do much more than fill positions—they’re strategic partners with a critical seat at the executive table. This DBA online specialization prepares you with the theoretical knowledge, industry insights, and capabilities to make your voice heard. Take the lead in building and empowering a talented and diverse workforce, helping your organization be a role model for others. Coursework examines contemporary organizational issues, such as succession planning for the organization’s long-term success, corporate social responsibility, creating and managing external strategic partnerships, and HR planning for the organization’s strategic business direction. The seminar-style format enables you to research and discuss topics relevant to your interests and organization. Before you finish your specialization, you will create an annual HR operating plan (AHROP). This project will allow you to synthesize and apply your unique knowledge and experience through a tangible action plan that will support the HR division as well as the organization’s overarching goals.
