Help individuals and communities—and even yourself—embrace a healthier lifestyle and achieve optimal wellness. Explore nutrition, fitness, and health communication strategies. This concentration is ideal if you aspire to promote health literacy and wellness. Coursework is specially developed to prepare you for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam. In this BS in Public Health concentration, you’ll learn to raise health literacy among individuals and populations and understand fundamental wellness principles. Master best practices for the design and development of effective health promotion strategies.
