Through the Human Services concentration, you can gain knowledge to help create meaningful and positive change in your community. Following an interdisciplinary approach, you’ll examine many of the challenges facing society today—including poverty, drug addiction, and domestic violence—and learn how to work effectively with families, human services agencies, and organizations to implement solutions that improve quality of life. You can develop skills in such areas as crisis intervention and conflict management and then apply those skills to better serve your community.
