Program Details
An online bachelor’s in Social Work can give students the knowledge and skills to help people solve problems in a variety of settings and professions. Professionals can find employment in healthcare facilities, schools, social service agencies, mental health clinics, and more. Graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher have the opportunity to choose the Advanced Standing option of the online MSW degree program.
The curriculum includes studies of career skills, case management, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. The Social Work Skills Lab provides face-to-face interaction and guided instruction from professors and experts in the field.
Students will choose a focus area in one of the following areas:
- Addiction
- Forensics and the Criminal Justice System
- Crisis and Trauma
- Courts and the Legal System
- Healthcare settings
