Program Details

The online Cake Decorator's Certificate is an art degree from Wake Technical Community College.  With this online art program students gain skills specific to cake decorating.  You will learn about baking cakes, preparing different icings, slicing and icing cakes, piping skills, gum paste, and fondant work.  This certificate culminates with students entering a tiered cake in a pastry competition.  Courses are:
