Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice program prepares students for careers in law enforcement, correctional facilities, social agencies, and other community organizations.  The curriculum includes topics related to crime and criminology, legal procedures and court systems, recidivism and rehabilitation, and more, teaching students about the nature and causes of crime and the factors that drive criminal behavior.  You will also learn how to follow due process when responding to crime and criminals, how to promote safety and restorative justice, and how to deal safely and humanly with individuals who have mental health and addiction issues.  Graduates are ready to become advocates for vulnerable populations.
