Juris Doctor
Vermont Law School

Program Details

Prepare to make a difference in your community and the world with this online law degree. Building on a history of providing successful online degrees, this program offers many of the same benefits as the traditional, on-campus program. Courses are taught with the same rigorous curriculum by the same expert professors. However, this online law degree accredited program features the flexibility needed to continue working and meeting other obligations while studying part-time.

With courses taught primarily in synchronous and asynchronous formats, students only need to attend three brief, in-person residential sessions. Other courses enable interaction through discussions, projects, and feedback.

The curriculum offers a traditional foundation with courses in such areas as civil procedure, property, criminal law, torts, and contracts, but you will be able to customize your degree by choosing a concentration in one of four areas:

  • Environmental Law
  • Food and Agriculture Law
  • Energy Law
  • Restorative Justice
