The online BA in Liberal Arts degree program from Utah State University is designed to help students gain a basic understanding of the development of civilization, historical and cultural traditions, political institutions and processes, and develop an appreciation of fine arts and literature. The curriculum focuses primarily on subjects in social science, humanities, and the arts, and students are strongly encouraged, but not required, to seek out second majors, strong minors, or area studies certificates which provide knowledge and prerequisite skills for further education or increase opportunities for employment.
