Program Details

Upper Iowa University offers an online Master of Education in Instructional Strategist. This program emphasis is designed for teachers who want more knowledge of students with special needs or intellectual disabilities. The curriculum of the program develops teachers who have a mastery in the many areas needed to help PK-12 students excel and develop.

There are three areas of emphasis:

• Instructional Strategist I: Mild/Moderate (K-8 and/or 5-12)
• Instructional Strategist II: Behavior Disorders/Learning Disabilities K-12
• Instructional Strategist II: Intellectual Disabilities K-12
