UW-Whitewater offers an online Graduate Certificate in Transition. This program is for educators and professionals in fields related to education, and is designed to help them facilitate the school-to-work transition for individuals with disabilities. Students will be prepared for careers working with these individuals and progressing them in careers.
To qualify for admission to a certificate program in good standing, you must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with an overall grade point average (G.P.A.) of 2.75 or above.
Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) now administers both NCATE and TEAC accreditation. Current accreditation status under NCATE and TEAC for education programs will continue through the accreditation term, during which they will be CAEP Eligible.
