Program Details

The Master of Science in Nursing from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh blends current theories in advanced nursing with evidence-based practice to prepare bachelor’s degree-holding nurses for advanced healthcare roles. Students can choose the Nurse Educator concentration to focus on pursuing teaching positions in healthcare systems or academic settings.

Courses give students advanced knowledge of nursing educational systems, curriculum, instructional technology, learning environments, communication strategies, and teaching skills. Two practicum courses provide experience in nursing education settings. Graduates of the Master of Nursing Education online program are eligible to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator examination.
