Program Details

The online BAS in Fire & Emergency Response Management degree completion program from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is designed to prepare students to manage complex public health and safety organizations and supervise employees, as well as to more effectively respond to public health and safety needs of the diverse communities and citizens that they serve. Courses cover topics such as:

Requirements

Bachelor completion requires 120 credits, including transfer credits.

  • Applicant must have:
    • An approved, regionally accredited degree in Fire Science Tech, Fire Protection, Fire Engineering, Wildland Fire, Fire Medic, Paramedic, or Emergency Management, OR
    • Firefighter 1 and 2 or EMT Basic and National Registry; 
    • Three years of full time experience; and 
    • Two recommendation letters, one from applicant’s Chief and one from a colleague
