Program Overview

The Associate of Arts and Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Colleges nurtures both critical thinking and communication skills in students. These are important for any profession, as they lay the foundation for acquiring new knowledge and adapting to a rapidly progressing work environment. Upon completion, students will have gained a basic comprehension of a wide variety of topics, including the social, mathematical, ethnic, and natural sciences, as well as the fine arts and humanities.

    The University of Wisconsin Colleges is the UW System’s network of 14 freshman/sophomore campuses (including UW Colleges Online) that offer an Associate of Arts and Science degree and prepare students of all ages and backgrounds to transfer into baccalaureate and professional programs. Six of our campuses offer a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences.
