The Master of Science in Sport & Performance Psychology is an online nutrition degree from University of Western States that integrates sport and performance psychology.  The curriculum uses positive and applied sport psychology that is designed to optimize skills in sport and performance psychology and transform your abilities to inspire and motivate others as a way to enhance performance and human potential.  This program is designed to help students complete the coursework required to become a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).  You will study the major concepts and current trends in research that are related to sport psychology and also learn to identify and explain the legal and ethical issues involved with consulting in sport psychology.  Coursework teaches students to design activities and ethical interventions in sport and performance contexts that will lead to improved performance and satisfaction and also helps them recognize and integrate various techniques designed to improve health, enhance performance, and improve overall wellness.
