Program Details

The University of West Florida offers an online MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship for students who are interested in becoming successful entrepreneurs.  The curriculum consists of core MBA courses and courses in Entrepreneurship which prepare students for careers as entrepreneurs, small business owners, and product developers.  Entrepreneurship courses develop entrepreneurial ideas, teaching students to participate in the processes necessary to convert business ideas into plans for new business ventures.  Each student will be given a mentor who is a successful entrepreneur to assist in the development of entrepreneurial ideas.  

In the traditional MBA program, students develop management skills, gain problem-solving tools, learn about decision-making, and study formal organizations and their economic environment.  You will go through the program with the same group of students, developing a comfortable working relationship and participating in student-to-student learning.

  • Due to COVID-19 and in an effort to better accommodate applicants, the MBA will no longer require the GRE/GMAT through Summer 2023. Beyond Summer 2023, waivers are available for those who qualify.
