Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Accounting from The University of West Florida prepares students for advancement in the Accounting areas of business.  The curriculum consists of courses in business administration along with a specialized focus on Accounting.  You will take Accounting courses in advanced auditing, financial accounting, corporate income tax, and commercial law.  

The MBA portion of the program develops management skills, problem-solving tools, decision-making capabilities, and knowledge about formal organizations, preparing students for leadership positions in a variety of managerial and organizational settings.  The program is designed to provide a general view of business in such areas as analytics, entrepreneurship, hospitality and tourism, human resources management, information security, and supply chain logistics.

  • Due to COVID-19 and in an effort to better accommodate applicants, the MBA will no longer require the GRE/GMAT through Summer 2023. Beyond Summer 2023, waivers are available for those who qualify.
