Program Details

While the University of West Alabama MS in Experimental Psychology does not lead directly to licensure, the Clinical Psychology track can satisfy some requirements to apply to become an LPC.  Through an online master’s degree in psychology, you will explore subjects such as:

• Developmental psychology
• Mental disorders
• Health psychology

Courses are available fully online, led by faculty who are active scholars and practitioners providing each student the chance for one-on-one mentorship.  Students will expand upon skills in research and critical thinking applicable to research presentation, data analytics, and other marketable methods of research.  Graduates are prepared for research assistant opportunities in behavioral sciences, health psychology, and a variety of other clinical or academic settings.
