Program Details

The University of the Cumberlands offers an online psychology degree, the Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  This program is designed to provide knowledge of major concepts, perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology.  The curriculum teaches students to understand and apply basic research methods in psychology, including research design, data analysis, and interpretations of findings.  Courses also improve critical and creative thinking skills, skeptical inquiry, and the scientific approach to problem solving while helping students apply psychology principles to personal, social, and organizational issues.  You will gain a strong liberal arts foundation that, when combined with the core psychology courses, prepares students for careers in a number of areas that value a psychology degree and also serves as preparation for graduate study.
