Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Tourism program provides a general foundation for sustainable tourism and related concepts of sustainability.  This program is designed for students with a wide range of backgrounds and interests in the tourism and hospitality industry, especially those related to global tourism movements.  Students are required to complete courses in the concepts, principles, economics, and finance of sustainability, and can choose electives from courses such as:

  • Organizational Effectiveness 
  • Sustainable Tourism Development: Principles and Practices
  • Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation 
  • Ocean Policy
