Program Details
The online Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health, Safety and Environment is intended to appeal to experienced working professionals world-wide who seek to broaden their understanding of the interrelatedness of health, safety, and the environment. Courses cover the fundamentals of exposure assessment and analytical methods as the groundwork for further instruction on topics including persistent issues of air and water quality, solid and hazardous wastes, worker safety, legal requirements, and effective management. The impact of health, safety, and the environment topics are addressed from a global perspective.
Requirements
- GRE taken within five years preceding application or equivalent scores
- Earned an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a “B” average on upper division coursework
- Minimum of two letters of recommendation
- Statement of purpose and objectives
- Resume or curriculum vitae
- Other concentration-specific prerequisites may be necessary
