Program Details

The online Master of Public Health with a concentration in Global Disaster Management, Humanitarian Relief, and Homeland Security plays an important role in global health, especially in areas of armed conflict and natural disasters.  Combining core courses from public health with courses in disaster management, humanitarian assistance, and homeland security will provide graduates with the ability to recognize, assess, implement and evaluate a global or local disaster.

Requirements

  • GRE taken within five years preceding application or equivalent scores
  • Earned an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a “B” average on upper division coursework
  • Minimum of two letters of recommendation
  • Statement of purpose and objectives
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
  • Other concentration-specific prerequisites may be necessary
