University of South Alabama

Program Details

It has often been said that women are complicated and that may be true, especially where their healthcare is concerned.  The University of South Alabama even offers a special degree for those interested in specializing in women’s healthcare, the MSN in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program online.  This degree prepares students to provide advanced nursing care in primary care, gynecologic, and obstetrical services.  You will be working with females from adolescence through the elderly in ambulatory care or outpatient settings.  Contrary to what the name suggests, graduates of this program also treat males in the areas of sexual dysfunction, infertility, and sexually transmitted infection diagnoses.
