Are you an RN seeking to advance your career while focusing on neonatal care?  If so, the MSN in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program online will allow you to work on meeting these goals while still meeting current personal and professional obligations.  

This online MSN degree prepares students for advanced nursing practice with neonates and their families in primary, acute, and chronic healthcare settings.  You will be working with the neonate to 21 year old population, handling acute and chronic complex health problems while implementing health promotion and disease prevention strategies.  Plus, students learn the importance of interdisciplinary health care and working with professionals from different fields, cultures, and backgrounds to ensure patients receive the best possible care.  Graduates are ready to act as leaders in advanced neonatal nursing practice and for doctoral study.

  • A mandatory three to four day orientation held during the fall semester of the first practicum course
  • Active unencumbered RN License
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Level III or higher NICU experience prior to starting the specialty option clinical component
