Master of Science in Nursing / Clinical Nurse Leader
University of South Alabama

Program Details

The healthcare field is constantly changing and evolving, as are the nursing roles within the field.  The Clinical Nurse Leader, an online nursing administration degree, is a new role that prepares nurses as advanced generalists who are experts at the point of care.  As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will have multiple positions in health care, serving as a nurse, an outcomes manager, a patient advocate, and a team leader.  You will also be an information manager and a systems analyst/risk anticipator who will work to improve not only patient care and communication but the organization as well.

This is an online MSN degree but that does not mean you will be on your own.  Courses feature interactive online classrooms that offer active learning, discussion, problem solving, debating, researching, networking, and more.  Students benefit from peer interaction while also studying where it is most convenient.
