Program Details
You can train to plan, design, and administer media centers with the Master of Education in Educational Media / Library Media from South Alabama. This online library science master’s program qualifies students to work as School Library Media Specialists in P-12 settings.
Students may begin their online library science graduate program in the spring, summer, or fall. Topics covered include such courses as:
- Multicultural experiences
- Multicultural education
- Psychological principles of learning
- Information literacy
Graduates must pass a written comprehensive exam and present a portfolio. Other graduation requirements include passing the PRAXIS II test for Library Media Specialist.
