The DNP in Nursing Informatics online degree from the University of South Alabama is designed for nurses interested in combining their interest in information technology with their love of healthcare. This program combines computer science, information science, cognitive and decision sciences, and nursing science. The curriculum is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to improve patient care and consumer health, utilize nursing research, and to provide education.
