Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Environmental Engineering program prepares students to play key roles in protecting air, water, and soil quality and in remediating damage caused by emissions sources.  You will study three core disciplines: chemical, civil, and geological engineering, and focus on issues related to air, water, and solids.  Graduates can find jobs in several fields, including:

  • Recycling
  • Waste disposal
  • Water and air pollution control
  • Pipeline operations
  • Data science

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in an ABET accredited engineering program in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Geological Engineering
  • Students holding a B.S. degree in other engineering disciplines or in a science field with an appropriate background in chemistry, fluid mechanics, and mathematics may also be admitted
  • An overall undergraduate GPA of at least 2.50 or 3.00 for the last two years
