The University of North Carolina at Greensboro offers an online MBA with a concentration in Cyber Security. This program is designed to handle the advances in information technology which made it easier to collect, store, process, and generate data rapidly which also raised concerns over the security of what is collected. Courses prepare students for potential security breaches and personal violations. They are also designed to increase student skills in information security and privacy while providing a theoretical foundation and practical understanding of information security and the privacy environment. Students study the latest ideas and best practices on all aspects of information security and privacy technologies, tools, methodologies, and management. In addition, courses in business administration prepare students for other areas of business, including problem solving, ethical behaviors, sustainability, and global business.
