The Master of Arts in Education degree at the University of North Alabama is offered for individuals with a bachelor's degree who seek professional expertise in teaching. The Elementary Education specialization (K-6) curriculum includes classes on instructional technology, issues with K-6th graders, assessments and surveys for students with disabilities, and more. Graduates will pursue careers working closely with young children and their families.
- A minimum score of 388 on the Miller Analogies Test (MAT), a score of 800 on the combined verbal and quantitative portions of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), or a passing score on the appropriate Praxis II subject examination
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution
- A valid bachelor’s-level professional educator certificate in the same field in which the Class A Professional Educator Certificate is sought
- 3.0 minimum GPA
