Program Details

The online Professional Certificate in Public Health develops new generations of public health-educated professionals, meeting the development needs of personnel in health departments, health professionals seeking knowledge in public health, potential masters or doctoral students in public health, and non-traditional students who wish to hold a credential in public health.  Courses provide knowledge and tools needed to enhance public health practice, emphasizing the areas of health behavior, environmental health, biostatistics, epidemiology, administration, and global health.

Requirements

  • Official transcripts reflecting an earned bachelor’s degree, with a 3.0 or higher grade point average for the last 60 undergraduate or the last 18 graduate/post-baccalaureate credit hours completed
  • Two letters of recommendation

  • English language proficiency (TOEFL test scores) if applicable
