Program Details

Earn a Master of Social Work degree online through University of Nebraska at Omaha distance learning.  This program trains students to enter today’s marketplace with the knowledge and skills to become highly qualified social workers.  Studies will cover topics such as:

  • Human behavior
  • Social welfare policies
  • Social welfare planning

Students will explore methods of advanced community planning, crisis intervention, and other varieties of social work practice from children and families to chemical dependency and elderly.  With the help of dedicated faculty, students will become fluent in socially just practices, tackling issues of policy and advocacy on a government level.  Advance social work practice in a myriad of professional settings through UNO online.
