The Advanced Standing track of the Master of Social Work degree is available online at University of Nebraska at Omaha.  This program is designed for students bringing up to 10 years of experience in the social work field to the virtual classroom.  Studies will include but are not limited to:

  • The social environment
  • Clinical social work
  • Ethnic diversity

Students will explore methods of advanced community planning, crisis intervention, and other social work practices including work with children and families, the chemically dependent, and the elderly.  With the help of dedicated faculty, students will become fluent in socially just practices, tackling issues of policy and advocacy on a government level.  Advance social work practice in a variety of professional settings through UNO online.
