Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)
University of Missouri-Columbia

Program Details

The MU Sinclair School of Nursing at the University of Missouri offers a comprehensive RN to BSN program online. Registered Nurses can use this program to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and students currently enrolled in an associate degree program can start classes now to shorten their overall completion time.

This fast, flexible BSN pathway allows students to start whenever it fits their schedule, spring, summer, or fall; work from home with no campus visits required; and complete the program in as few as 14 months. Courses focus on evidence-based practices that can be applied immediately to the workplace. Graduates will be prepared to take on closer day-to-day work in care and team coordination, quality assurance and improvement, leadership, and community-based roles.

Students will complete a clinical experience in a community health setting. A variety of options exist, such as:

  • Working with a county health agency
  • Serving as a summer camp nurse
  • Taking an international trip to Costa Rica
  • Opportunities within your own community
