Program Details

The Department of American Indian Studies at UMD offers this online BA in Tribal Administration & Governance, where you can select from two tracks:  American Indian Studies or Business Administration.  With either knowledge base, you’ll be prepared to work for tribes, governmental agencies or NGOs in an effort to improve the lives of Native Americans.  Studies focus on history, policies and issues that impact tribal governments.  Curriculum may incorporate:

• Fundamentals of Tribal Project Management
• Federal Indian Policy
• Foundations of Indigenous Leadership
