Program Details

The online Master of Public Health with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences integrates academic rigor with real world solutions to promote healthy communities and environments, prevent chronic disease, and protect against the spread of disease.  The social and behavioral sciences concentration addresses the behavioral, social, and environmental factors related to individual and population health and health disparities over time.  The curriculum focuses on addressing these factors in relation to urban and global health concerns, as well as advocacy for the underserved.

Requirements

  • Must hold a bachelor or graduate degree from an accredited college or university with an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (4.00 scale) or a graduate cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in the major subject area
  • GRE test scores
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Statement of purpose
  • English language proficiency (TOEFL scores) if applicable
