Program Details
Learn to work with children with a diagnosis of low-incidence disabilities, such as intellectual disability ASD, and multiple disabilities with this online special education degree. Designed to enhance current teachers’ knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices for these students, this program provides foundational knowledge of characteristics, episiotomy, prevalence, and evidence-based interventions. The curriculum features evidence-based instructional practices for K-12 students with these disabilities. Courses will likely include:
- Teaching the Exceptional Learner
- Intellectual Disabilities
- Language/Communication Inclusive Classroom
- Introduction to Autism
