The Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education provides a pathway for nurses to pursue national certification allowing them to teach in a college of nursing. Program participants gain skills in teaching nursing students in a specific area of nursing. Courses cover curriculum design and educational theory, evaluation methods, and practicums in nursing education and a clinical focus.

Students in this online nurse educator program have the opportunity to customize the program by choosing one of the following courses:

  • Advanced adult health nursing
  • Critical care nursing
  • Advanced pediatric nursing
  • Advanced psychiatric mental health nursing
  • Advanced women's health and perinatal nursing
