Program Details
University of Massachusetts Global offers six concentrations within the online bachelor’s in Psychology degree program. The Child Psychology concentration benefits students who plan to work with children, with a specific emphasis on children with developmental challenges. The curriculum includes more in-depth study of child development, learning, and treatment options for children with autism and other disabilities.
Coursework addresses child development from multiple perspectives including biological, evolutionary, behavioral, psychoanalytic, cognitive, sociocultural, and humanistic. Students are taught how to enhance child development and learning from a psychological standpoint.
